[00:00:00] Emily: Welcome to get offset. And my name is Emily and I’m here today with, um, the crumb, a pedal I purchased with my own money from Caroline and guitar company. This is actually just kind of like a show in salvage audio, uh, something that I want to do for fun. Oh man. I forgot to mention, I was thinking about you the other day.

[00:00:22] I hope you got, oh, I hope that thing that you were hoping for happened. I hope that thing that you were hoping that that would happen, did happen. And I hope that thing that you were hoping would not happen did not happen. I’m not huge on manifesting, but I hope it worked for you. I forgot my compliment.

[00:00:44] I’m so sorry. I’m so ashamed. Yeah, but I’m here with the chrom. It is, uh, a, we broke it and then we fixed it kind of story from leaf at Caroline guitar company. And, um, they are, and this is my understanding playing on doing a bigger release of this. Uh, but this is a limited edition that I got. I’m really excited.

[00:01:08] Perth has went to a great cause I also have the GNS. The vendor Telecaster style guitar, um, that used to, um, have the worst paint job I’ve ever seen on a guitar. It was pretty bad. Um, so I’ll do a full rundown of that at some point in my life, but that’s all I had to show off. I also have my brand new Benson Monarch reverb with this beautiful majestic creature on it.

[00:01:41] I’m a big fan of. Majesty. All right. So, um, the panels off first things first and, um, yeah, let’s, let’s get started. I just tuned up and, uh, we’ll take you through crumb. This is volume output. This is tone. And this is E uh, you gain your first game. Okay, sorry. The sword controls the voltage from the first game stage to the later latter ones for overall drive.

[00:02:19] So basically drive is why I thought the mountain is a tweet amplifier style, tone control that interacts with the sward. There’s also an internal trim pod to control by bias and gaze eight. If you really want to get into that, um, mostly I’ll be probably looking at these, these pre. And just kinda having some fun with this puddle, you know, uh, let’s get some clean, clean towns.

[00:03:04] all right. This is an interesting choice of guitar for me to do with the. Uh, crumb, but Felipe did help me get this beautiful paint job from BA Ferguson.

[00:03:38] So as you can see, I basically have the tone all the way up and the gain all the way down. Um, I feel like that’s a really fun spot.

[00:04:06] Quiet. So then we could turn up the volume to comp um,

[00:04:18] Nobody’s playing this pedal like that, but just so you can hear it. So I had that up all the way, the tone up all the way, um, the sun mountain and the sword all the way down, still get a really fun gain. I actually really dig in that sound.

[00:04:57] before this, my husband and I were watching an episode of Seinfeld and RD from, uh, Pete and Pete was on that episode. Let’s uh, I’m gonna turn. Down a little bit and start to crank up the sword. So

[00:05:16] this was to interact. So that seems like a pretty, seems like a pretty good spot.

[00:05:59] Oh man.

[00:06:49] I forget what the next quarter.

[00:07:05] I’m having too much fun. Continue this journey together.

[00:08:32] Why is, do I play demos? And then just decide to play a song. I haven’t played in like six

[00:10:43] I always forget.

[00:15:10] And I was looking some of these presets, this first one is called time to play some of that hard album oriented rock music. We’re hearing on that new fangled FM radio. I don’t know why I said it. Like my grandmother would have said it, but I sure.

[00:16:25] And this one’s called liability cons 78.

[00:16:44] Waiting for my neighbors to text me.

[00:18:15] you played something and then you just literally ass. How to plan like two minutes later. Welcome to my world. This one’s called. My life story. Well, somewhere between this is spinal tap and the story of man

[00:19:21] Scared of my neighbors right now. Uh, last one’s called sluggy must side of sludge pouring milkshake and gravy into speakers. I’m nervous as if I’m not doing this at like six 30 at night. Like this is like a normal time to make noise. Sludgy mudslide of slash

[00:20:13] I don’t do. I don’t sludge.

[00:21:17] I was watching my monitor during that glitch in the matrix.

[00:21:28] It reminds you how the amp sound, remind you how the amp sounded before for the chrom.

[00:22:10] That was really fun. And I thought that would be like 10 minutes, cause it’s three knobs, but now it’s crumb. So, um, that’s a Caroline guitar pedal. Uh, I cannot wait for them to do a big, uh, big honk and release with it. That was a phenomenal, dammit. That was fun.

[00:22:33] I’m not mad that I had that much fun. But sometimes you’re just surprised.

[00:22:43] Woo.

[00:22:51] Yeah. Sorry. I’m just having fun now. Um, yeah, damn it. That was really, really fun. Uh, I lost my train of thought. I’m trying to regain it. Uh, Chrome might’ve broken me a little. And so has this, this beautiful ham. I just feel like these two things right here are a dream and I’m just so happy. They’re in my life right now.

[00:23:17] So happy they’re in my life right now. So I’ll be here in my life right now. Thank you for being here. Uh, please like comment, subscribe below. We have a Patriot on patrion.co patrion.com/get offset website. Get offset podcast.com just type in you type a slash shop into that. Uh, we have merge, uh, including, uh, for fuck’s sake, uh, T and hat design that seems particularly appropriate, uh, for this particular video.

[00:23:49] Um, I don’t know what else to say, man. This was so much fun. Uh, so I guess all I have to say is thanks for watching. Thanks for understanding until next time. My name is Emily. Goodbye. Sorry for my neighbors. Don’t pay me. I’m done being loud and being loud.
