The Chase Bliss Ayahuasca is an EXTREMELY limited edition pedal. But what is it? In short, it’s a fuzz and a tremolo with a lot of extra tricks up its sleeve.
The top three knobs loosely control the fuzz circuit. But really, you just have controls for output (volume), input (which takes you from overdrive to distortion to gated fuzz) to color, which is a tone knob that also has a treble bleed if I remember correctly.
The three knobs on the bottom control the tremolo. You have rate and depth. Rate can also be controlled via tapping the left footswitch.
The third knob on the bottom is “BALANCE” but I kept calling it blend, because it blends the TWO tremolo wave forms together, or kind of assigns the center of those two wave forms. So yeah, it’s Balance, not Blend, but oh well, I misspoke.
The toggles, from left to right:
LEFT: Volume tremolo (left), harmonic tremolo (middle), BOTH (right).
MIDDLE: Tremolo wave form one
RIGHT: Tremolo wave form two
