The Benson Preamp is based on the circuit of their Chimera 30 watt guitar amp, so it’s basically the next best thing to having one of their amps. It substitutes to the FET transistors for the vacuum tubes and has a truly stellar range of tones. This thing goes from clean to fuzz!
