The Blues Driver is a classic drive pedal from Boss, even before any modifications. Of course, that doesn’t stop folks, most famously Keeley, from modding it to put in their own changes and improvements.
The “Blu-Drive” Mod from JHS is no different. According to JHS, their “Blu-Drive” Mod gives the BD-2 more transparent, amp-like tone. It also adds a toggle to give you even more gain — more like fuzz tones. It makes it a very diverse pedal.
