The Hummingbird is a choppy, sawtooth-wave tremelo from Earthquaker Devices. You might know me as an enormous fan of tremolo, and this is one of my personal favorites.
As far as controls go, you have rate, depth, and volume. You also have a toggle that gives you more rate range.
The toggle has settings for 1 (left), 2 (right), and 3 (middle). One is the slowest, 2 is described as “mid-tempo” and 3 is super fast.
I don’t get into it in this particular video, but you can also use an expression pedal to control the rate.
