Today, Emily demos and reviews her new Classic Vibe Squier Starcaster. She’s been jonesing for one ever since she saw Jessica Dobson from Deep Sea Diver play one for the first time. Then, when she saw them at SNAMM she knew she had to get one, and she did, first chance she got.
She runs it through the Mt. Hood Fuzz by Spruce effects, the Hot Cake by Crowther, and the Prelude by Quiet Theory, into a Silverton 1472 or somethin’ like that! She even leaves in the bum notes because she’s not too proud to hit and leave a mistake.
As far as quality goes, it’s hard to beat for the money. Even though it’s a larger guitar, it sits very comfortably on her 5’7″ frame, has an extremely comfortable neck, and the stock pickups sound pretty solid, especially when you add some dirt.
