Welcome to get offset. My name is Emily and I’m here today with the litigator by spun loud affects it is an overdrive pedal handmade or symbol out at, up in Bellingham, Washington, which is a beautiful little town, uh, just South of Canada. But our friend, Dan, Dan, you might remember a spun loud effects.

They have the blister and peel fuzz at Andrew. And I couldn’t stop talking about last summer and the litigator. Let me just grab my guitar pick. Cause I forgot to do that. Oh, you see my hand reaching around proof guitar pick. Uh, the litigator was inspired by the blues rock sounds of Britain in the early sixties, uh, known as the Beano town.

Um, but a lot of people might call it as a blues. A lot of people might refer to it as the blues breaker sound. Um, so let’s talk a little bit about the pedal. We have volume gain and tone pretty self-explanatory the game pedal. You will notice this is a feature, not a bug. It makes it, it will make sound when it’s turned, when the pedal is on.

So as we that’s to be expected. And, um, I, Dan told me there’s some other Z VAX pedal that does that as well. It’s. It’s expected. It doesn’t mean your pedals broken. I asked, but it tune I’m playing my American professional two series Jazzmaster. Let me just turn down my volume there. I’m playing my American professional two series Jazzmaster through my stream and a video on the round B setting.

I chose the Iridium because one, my setup is already. It’s already set up and to, I think it, um, Has a pretty natural amp sound. And I want to hear, uh, what that sounds like. Let’s talk about it. Uh, the pen a little bit more. It is and original transistor based design that uses to gain stages to achieve a creamy sparkly overdrive with an almost false like character, uh, not found in most overdrive pedals.

Keep the gain low for a hint of crunch or crank it for lead worthy overdriven tone. That gets plenty dirty while maintaining note clarity. When you strum chords. Nice. So it has this really one thing I want to say is it has this really nice new track is a new track. Let me look at this new trick jacks and they are really nice.

Uh, middle ground between a very hard, like satisfying click that, you know, you, you hit a pedal on a stage and you want that feeling so that, you know, it worked and this will give you that, but it all, it doesn’t pop. It’s not loud. It’s very, very nice. Uh, one thing I really love about spun loud effects is that Dan really is very thoughtful about the parts he uses in these pedals.

And, um, I feel like that deserves a shout out. So go, Dan, uh, now let’s play some damn guitar.

Oh, that was on. You and your weekly until now.

So as you could tell, when the game was all the way down, we do need to compensate the volume. So

so, but just a little bit of gain. We have that, um, not quite clean sound, any more let’s play with the tone character.

and you’ve played with a lot of pedals and a lot of tone controls. It should not surprise you that tone and volume intermingle quite a bit as do gain and volume higher tone. You’re going to get, um, a little bit.

So you heard that term nothing to worry about. That’s just how it sounds. I can not get my hair the way I like it today.

so you can hear it’s really starting to get that nice crunch sound and I’m into it.

Fantastic.

Let’s do Morgan Dean at noon.

I gotta be honest. I really did like that.

I could imagine this being one of those always on this is your

gain craze tone.

That’s an amount of gain. A lot of people are going to be very happy with

you guys should stop playing risks.

I don’t think that risk exists.

What does gender play there?

I’m just going to play all this Sunday. Crush refs. Oop. I went to the bridge pickup by accident. Let’s listen to it on the bridge.

Let’s do that.

series. Gosh, I do love that.

I dropped my guitar.

somewhere, Steve salvage, just watching this thing. No play play, play book difficult, study around

So that is the litigator by spun loud effects. If you like that. Marshall blues breaker type sound. This is that in a box. Um, I do think it does lose some of the articulation. The higher you get in the game. That’s relatively to be expected, especially without a clean. Blend, not that most pedals like this have a clean blend.

And at this price point it’s like 130 bucks or something. Let me look at the website really quickly, website $135. Like this is a great deal. I think for this type of pedal, honestly, I thought this was going to be a lot more expensive. So Dan kept us very affordable for you all. Um, He did send this to me to demo.

I forgot to mention that at the top, but by now you probably saw the little paid promotion thing at the bottom. Sorry. Sorry. I forget. Listen, listen. I forget sometimes to deceive

I don’t want to deceive, um, I liked the pedal. I think it’s funny. I’m really glad that blues lawyer means was one of the first, uh, demo channels to demo this. I just, I just honestly think that’s hilarious and perfect. Cause it’s the litigator and it’s a blues breaker. Blues lawyers. Thanks for keeping the industry afloat blue.
