[00:00:00] Emily: Welcome to get offset. My name is Emily and I’m here today with a Tupa effects. Uh, who’ll fuzz. It is their newest pedal it’s based on the Roger Roger Myers rocket pedal series from the nineties. I’ve never played one of those pedals. So I’m really interested in trying it. Um, it’s described in its, uh, official description as a smooth fuzz with a cocked woah voicing.

[00:00:30] It’s got a simply volume and phys and I am playing my Squire super Sonic from the paranormal series with the Lawler Imperial pick up. Uh, I will be playing the neck pickup. I will probably do it as humbucker and split and single coils. So you can get a better feeling of how this fuzz sounds with a couple of different pickup options.

[00:00:55] No P nanny today, folks. Sorry. Um, but I will probably sneak some basics. If you’re lucky if you’re real good. All right. So let’s get to it. I’m playing through my stream and already I’m on the round B setting treble up a bit, middle down, a bit based, kind of in the middle gain in the middle, a room reverb turned barely on just, it doesn’t sound too.

[00:02:47] I should just get that right.

[00:04:25] Ooh, I really liked the way that fizzles out. Be a

[00:04:44] So you heard it. Humbuckers now let’s do that sweep. Single court

[00:05:10] It’s compared to the humbuckers again.

[00:06:20] really great sustain.

[00:07:49] and

[00:07:53] just a little bit noisy. I think I prefer it with the humbuckers. It gets pretty good. Gnarly with that, with the single coils. I want to try it with the volume rolled back. So let’s just try to roll the volume in

[00:08:19] So like any good fuzz, it cleans up nicely. Turn up the volume to compensate there.

[00:08:34] Wow.

[00:08:43] It’s a really deep, heavy, low end with an overdrive kind of sound. And I think I love it.

[00:08:59] wow. That’s neat.

[00:09:14] Keeping it roll down the same amount.

[00:09:38] that’s the secret sauce. Like, yeah, that’s really,

[00:09:46] wondering how you get that sound. All that guitar.

[00:10:02] Sometimes you hit it and sometimes you don’t.

[00:10:45] So, so wild and cool. I think I love that.

[00:10:58] that’s like as low as my volume on my guitar guts,

[00:11:05] let’s try it on the neck. The Brit.

[00:11:41] all right. Thoughts on guitar? That sounds so awesome. Oh my gosh. I really, really love that with the volume rolled back. I think more than more than with the, uh, the volume of the guitar rolled back more than with the volume of the guitar up all the way. That’s a personal preference, but I just really. The the, I think the carp wild fuzz voicing sounded especially cool.

[00:12:04] Um, when you really, when he rolled back the ball volume on yours, Again, any fuzz we’ll give cool. Oh, overdriven characteristics with the volume roll down because Pez is very input sensitive. Um, which is why people usually put it early in their signal chain. Well, one of the reasons, um, so yes, uh, stick around about to try it on the base for just a few minutes, right?

[00:12:33] Hey, I’m back. Let’s do this clean sound

[00:12:42] fender Mustang player series. Volume all the way up.

[00:14:06] That’s pretty neat. I love to say it on that. Let’s get it in the middle there. Maybe

[00:14:26] I’m going to do the volume roll back on this old base as well.

[00:14:35] There you go.

[00:15:46] try the other pickup and went to him the volume back up.

[00:17:11] this funds is a very, very, very mad funds. Now this is really fun. I’m having a great time with it. It’s the, again, the.
