Designed with SNL guitarist Jared Scharff, the Kangra by Walrus Audio is a gated fuzz in the style of the Kay Fuzz Tone with a diverse, independent filter circuit.
The right footswitch controls a sputtery fuzz that’s entirely controlled via toggles. You can either have a vintage or modern fuzz sound, and can have scooped for flat mids.
For the filter (which I don’t actually play in this demo without the fuzz because I liked the fuzz so much), has an optional envelope filter with adjustable sensitivity. You also have frequency and resonance knobs. You can also plug in an expression pedal to control the filter cutoff frequency! Hellooooo, wah sounds.
