Demo: Teisco Fuzz

The Teisco Fuzz is one of the first releases of the new Teisco pedal line, and it RIPS.

Firstly, let’s talk about how this pedal feels. For $130 you might not expect much, but this lil pancake of a pedal feels robust. Just has a great weight to it and I’m not worried about how it’ll hold up on a pedal board.

More importantly, how does it sound? Briefly, like a swarm of bees or a Moto3 race. In a VERY good way.

The pedal itself is based on a Foxx Tone Machine. It’s a hairy fuzz with a switchable octave up effect. I actually really like the octave up. I think it sounds hilarious (again, in a good way). The tracking is sometimes just a little bit off, which is a feel I truly dig.

This pedal is nasty. I love it. Keep an eye out for a demo with a baritone guitar.

Guitar is Fender Pawn Shop Offset with Lambertones Cremas
Amp is Strymon Iridium (round, b)
