Hey, welcome to get off set. My name is Emily and I’m here today for something a little bit different. I want to talk about Guitar.com LIVE. it’s a virtual conference with a ton of workshops, performances, et cetera. I’m talking to people like St. Vincent, Michael Adams, AKA Puisheen and 60 cycle hum. The fretboard journal.

[00:00:24] She shreds me. That’s right. I’m going to be a part of gets hard.com live was you can register for now. Please hit the link in the bio register. Um, but I will be on on the first day and I believe it’s the showcase room with Eirik, from living room gear, demos, and grant from Goodwood audio. I’m moderating a panel with them.

[00:00:49] That’s why they trusted me to moderate a panel. I guess because I interview people every week for the good off set podcast, which you should check out if you have it. But I want to know what do you all want to talk about loosely speaking? We’re talking about perfecting your pedal board. And I can’t think of very many people.

[00:01:10] I’d rather talk about that with than Eirik and grant. I mean, Eirik has a great gear channel that I really love watching and grant. Like his company, Goodwood audio create some of the most stellar utility pedals in the market. I mean, they literally have a pedal that helps you audition new pedals on your pedal board.

[00:01:31] And so I’m definitely gonna talk to him about that. I think we’re going to talk about things like signal chain, a what order you put your pedals on. I want to talk about what the rules there are and what, and how those rules are made to be broken. And I have like this host of ideas in my head. But I feel like I wouldn’t be doing my job as the moderator of this panel.

[00:01:54] If I didn’t ask the people, what do they want to know? I mean, like, do you want to no about whether or not it’s worth it to do a stereo rig? What’s the best way to do a stereo reg? Like is there, or you should put your overdrive pedals then should boost go before a driver after a drive? Like should reverb always go last.

[00:02:16] What happens if you put a fuzz pedal after reverb? I think they call that shoegaze. So just little things like, like, what do you want to know? Do you want to know how people musicians build their pedal boards and like what inspire people to do that? Do you want to know specifically how to get. How like with would grant Eirik and I get like a specific type of pedalboard.

[00:02:43] I would really love to know what you want to know from these individuals who do pedal boards all day long, or at least play with pedals a lot. So yes. Hit up comments in the video description. I’ll have the link for registration, but put the comments actually in the comments, like where they ought to be and like no holds barred, just ask whatever.

[00:03:16] I can’t guarantee that we’re going to get to all the questions. Um, but I would like to pull from, from whatever you all want to know what you’re thinking about. What inspires you, if there’s anything you want us to just say, I think that’d be cool too, but again, It’s guitar.com live. It’s running from October 2nd to fourth, and I’ll be recording with all of them, um, next week, just to have it up and ready.

[00:03:44] Uh, so it’s not actually live live, at least not this panel. I’m sure there’s I w I think there might be some things that are live live, but I don’t know, but. Please again in the comments and, uh, register, register, register guitar.com live. I think I’ve said that enough times, but, uh, as always, thanks for watching things for understanding.

[00:04:07] Thank you for asking questions until next time. My name is Emily goodbye.
