Hey, Emily from get offset and I’m here today with a Klon Klone from wish.com. This is not the real deal. It did not cost me $4,000. It costs me closer to $40. And, um, I mean, it seems to work. It looks kind of nice feels, you know, girthy and fine. I’m sure. It’ll sound the way it sounds, which I would be shocked if it sounds like a klon I’ve heard, they don’t sound bad and I’ve looked at the wiring I’ve opened up the back.
[00:00:31] It looks like it looks clean. It looks nice. I don’t know anything about it. I don’t know if it it’s not gooped or anything. So I don’t really know if we could compare it to a real Klon in that regard, but, um, I’m interested to see how it performs. It is very, uh, inexpensive and I had never bought anything on wish.com before was a little surprised when I showed up looking at this nice.
[00:01:00] Um, but I, you know, I don’t really like a lot of the spending my money on cheap pedals, um, that were, you know, clearly mass produced in …dubious kind of working conditions in places like China or Vietnam. But, um, I mean, I say that as I film this on and iPhone, so obviously I don’t have a ton of like, is there a little conflict there for sure.
[00:01:32] Uh, so this is, you know, this is going to sound the way it sounds. I think I’m probably just going to do it on guitar really quickly. Um, Because I have other things to demo, uh, yeah. Check out the rest of the video. And as far as things like aesthetically go, um, the cheer extremely hard. And, uh, he, uh, I don’t even know if this would photograph or video graph.
[00:02:00] Well, um, it looks crooked. It looks like it’s kind of sitting at an angle, so like the insides look nice. It looks like everything is soldered correctly. Um, but that’s a little unusual and, uh, not ideal. And I’m just trying to not get that reflection from outside of my blue reflect lenses. Yeah. It’s unavoidable.
[00:02:25] That’s what happens when you film videos in the daytime? So, yeah. Thanks for watching, please. Like comment, subscribe below without further ado demo. Hey, I have my. Squire paranormal series, Offset Telecaster with a Lollar royal t in the neck stock pickup in the bridge and a four way switch. I’m going to keep it on the middle position because I think it sounds better, um, Strymon Iridium Round B no gain room at about 11 o’clock flock.
[00:02:58] So let’s get the.
[00:05:46] my God. That is so harsh when it’s on full game. Like, I feel like you can’t really mellow that out very much. Even with this tone knob, I was kind of turning to. The knob on the guitar instead,
[00:06:12] I’ve never played a clown. I don’t really think I’ve played a lot of clown clone. So please tell me if that’s like the Claude’s do, because if it is.
[00:06:37] is that what you want your guitar to sound like?
[00:07:35] wow. I hate it. I really, whatever sound that was, it reminds me of the DOD, um, Puddle I had for awhile, the gunslinger. I hated that pedal too. This reminds me of that.
[00:08:01] I’m actually going to try this on my baritone guitar next, just to see if we can, like, if that doesn’t need to affect like the triple leanness of it. Um, I would be surprised if it did. Yeah. So not going to do it on base, but baritone half a day and a, so save a video. And this is the Eastwood guitars, um, sidetrack, baritone, and pink.
[00:10:55] well, I found that to be. Unpleasant. Um, so I feel like when you’re in sort of the middle range, like going up to about there two o’clock, maybe isn’t possible passively, decent distortion, pedal, overdrive, whatever. Um, I feel like this tone, the treble knob also has to be kind of like 10, nine, 10, 11 o’clock depending on the gain level.
[00:11:26] Um, And then the outputs really, really hot in general. Uh, again, I haven’t played a constant compare this, so I would love to know what you think is this, is this worth owning for $40? Maybe, maybe think about the human cost of what you’re buying too. Again, recording this on an iPhone. Not a ton of room to talk on that matter.
[00:11:57] Um, but yeah, I am probably never going to play that title again, ever. So a $40 well spent, not unless I make $40 on this video. Uh, yeah. Yeah. That’s um, I don’t have a lot to say about this pedal. It is inexpensive. It got to me relatively quickly. It has the clon art. It has the culinary aesthetic. I think it, I thought, I don’t think it sounds very good.
[00:12:36] I just think it’s extremely trevally and, uh, grading and kind of hurt my ears. So if that’s what you’re going for. This is your pedal. Yeah. If you disagree with me, let me know in the comments. I’m very curious about what you all think about this wish.com clon clone. And until next time, thanks for watching.
[00:13:05] Thanks for understanding. My name is Emily goodbye.
