Native Audio Ghost Ridge Reverb Demo

Hey, welcome to get offset. My name is Emily and I’m here today with the ghost Ridge reverb from native audio based out of Dayton. Ohio always love a Dayton slash Ohio brand. So to it, it’s a river with foremost and like with any, um, multimode reverb pedal that has secondary functions like this one does, um, You know what I’m getting ahead of myself.

[00:00:29] Let’s just talk about it a little bit. This is a multimode river, multi type river pedal that has secondary hold functions. So that means, let me put the guitar down here and move over here. When you hold down on this whole switch, you can change the Reaver mode.

[00:00:53] I may just off. Well, why isn’t that working?

[00:01:02] Here we go. So you turn it on, you set your reverb mode, let’s start with hall, for example, and then you would turn up the mix where you want it. There’s also a secondary hold on the modulation. So I’m just going to turn that all the way down for now. And, uh, I’m going to play for you. The, the clean sound.

[00:01:27] Uh, we’ll start with the hall reverb, and then we’ll go to plate and, uh, then we’ll go to room and then we’ll go to spring.

[00:01:41] Check my levels there, maybe a little bit higher. I’m using the strive and Iridium round. Be no room sound. Drive it. Let’s do noon.

[00:02:08] and this guitar, by the way, um, that they’re Jazzmaster American series 2006.

[00:02:46] So that’s with nothing in the mix.

[00:03:28] You’re that depth or.

[00:04:15] all right, let me now put this down so I can get to our next Reaver mode, the plate, and you’ll see it lights up. So now I’m in the plate reverb.

[00:05:21] that’s crank that depth or decay.

[00:06:11] I like the plate setting a lot. Um, when you’ve turned the depth up all the way, it’s almost like it’s like, you’re getting a hold. Kind of function, actually. Let’s see if it does rails, there might be an internal trim pot, or by like set up for them.

[00:06:31] for all my praise and worship listeners. I know that you are out there. Um, all right, now let’s do the room, which is a great movie.

[00:07:31] Room gets more subtle than the other settings, which is what you want in a room. Reverb is not really, you don’t want like, It’s something outrageous.

[00:08:23] alright, let’s do the last one. Beautiful. Spring. Oh, let’s turn that down.

[00:08:44] Yeah, I hear that.

[00:09:55] I like it now let’s turn up the depths.

[00:10:17] Oh sure. I knew at Jenna was playing during that song.

[00:10:51] um, let’s see. Let us. Now mess with the modulation, some on each setting. So I’m going to go back to Paul, turn that up. And I’m going to put the modulation here at noon, just so we can hear for sure. Leave the depth in the middle.

[00:11:22] Oh, I can hear it.

[00:11:26] Yeah. Right. Let’s create that modulation of even more. Put the depths back in the middle. There

[00:12:38] up and try it on the plate setting.

[00:12:46] And I guess in keeping the depth all the way to

[00:13:20] that’s where it’s most apparent. I think that the plate is, you know, play a little plate, goes a long way. Um, I don’t like having a ton of plate reverb online on my guitar. I love playing just a snitch of it and I love plate reverbs on vocals, but, uh, I like how the modulation feels more subtle with the plate reverb, even when that was felt crank.

[00:13:44] Right.

[00:14:08] One last one that turn it off. Go back on.

[00:14:17] And now spring modulated, dimed.

[00:15:04] you can also have presets. So I think it’s hold the save, but let’s just move through them. These are the ones that came with

[00:16:04] well there, you have it. That’s the ghost Ridge, a multi reverb effect from native audio. Uh, Mike from native audio. That so much into two knobs. And I am, I’m impressed, like to have a standard size enclosure with four unique reverbs and four presets and the option to add a little or a lot of modulation to them to have all of that in one standard size and closure.

[00:16:33] That’s really impressive. And the presets are easy to understand. It’s easy to see which preset you’re on. Um, at a glance, this is a killer river pedal. Like seriously, I don’t, I don’t know why people are snoozing on, on this. He did send it to me in exchange for a demo. Um, and I’m really glad he did. This is, yeah, it’s a, it’s a great river.

[00:16:54] A pedal. I don’t know what else to say about it. It’s just, it’s kind of ingenious the way that he did it and I’m really impressed. So big, big kudos to native audio. Uh, check it out. Um, I think the best way to buy for them is on their shopping. I don’t think they are on reverb. Uh, but yes, that’s, that’s it.

[00:17:14] I didn’t think I’d be able to spend like, or more than 15 minutes on a to knob reverb pedal, but here we are. So, um, if you do want to buy other things on reverb, like a Jazzmaster, uh, please use the reverb link.
