[00:00:00] Emily: Welcome to get offset. My name is Emily and I’m here with the FAS BombBomb from rare buzz affects it’s based on a very rare Soviet FAS. So, you know, it’s going to be fun, wild, and extreme. Uh, I know that BombBomb is a character from Mario. It looks a little like that, which I just think it’s the funniest thing, but I mostly think of it from a Scott Pilgrim versus the world.
[00:00:39] I hope you do too. Um, so yeah, it’s based on an extremely rare, uh, vintage Soviet germanium circuit, uh, first circuit. Oops. Excuse me. They’re modified to, um, include Silicon gate. And recovery stages it’s buffered on both ends. So it doesn’t necessarily have to be first. And your, uh, signal chain, big boy is volume and you’re going to need them.
[00:01:11] And a little boy is a more of a textural change. The tonal change there is now, uh, adjusting on the face here for the amount of gain you’re going to get what you get. And you’re going to be quite pleased. I think I am playing my rough star through my tone master super reverb with that amount of reverb.
[00:01:46] I’m going to start with the fuzz voice all the way to the left.
[00:02:51] Yeah, that’s some pretty heavy.
[00:03:31] as we turn, um, the texture knob clockwise it’s to the right. We will eventually need to compensate by turning the volume down. Some it gets really nasty. So I’m turning that to about. 10 or 11 o’clock
[00:04:33] I’m very pleased with that sustain.
[00:04:38] Ooh, let me try that.
[00:05:15] taking that to about.
[00:06:37] so like, very, like fun about turning enough. Sure.
[00:08:30] I really only played it in the middle position. Uh, I feel like it gets most of that nasally character that in the crank all the way you do feel it start to blend in a lot more around the three o’clock though. I feel that the texture change pretty quickly as you started to turn it. Uh, it’s very apparent after three o’clock.
[00:08:53] Um, so there you go. I’m sure you want to know how it sounds with the volume rolled back on the guitar. So let’s, uh, roll back that volume.
[00:09:08] this is what the character knobs are. Oh, the textured knob, I should say turned all the way to the right.
