Can’t stop the funk! The Fownkbeta (or Fwonk Beta) is a “purple funk generator.”
How could I NOT get one?
It’s an envelope/low-pass filter unlike any I’ve ever played. The sensitivity knob has a bigger sweep than I’ve personally experienced, and it’s just a WILD pedal. It’s absolutely funky and can go from a more traditional filter to something with so much thump you knock photos off the wall.
However, as an envelope filter, you have to ensure that the volume on your guitar or bass is turned up. If you turn the volume down there, you’re not going to hear the sounds you want.
Guitars are Tunatone Teeny Tuna and Fender Mustang Player Series Bass.
Amps are Strymon Iridium Round, B and Fender Rumble Studio 40

Hey, I’m Emily from get offset and I’m here today with the mr. Black Fwonkbeta and right on there, it says it’s a purple funk generator. And you know, me, I got kind of a thing for Prince. Uh, so I really, I really liked that. That’s that’s one way to my heart is to make it sound a little Princey. Um, I’ve only ever played this pedal with guitar, so I don’t know how this is going to go.
