An overdrive pedal with a clean blend? I’m not sure I’ve ever played something like that, but I think I dig it!

Hey, yep. Welcome to Get Offset. My name is Emily and I’m here today with the blessed mother by Heather Brown Electronicals as seen at godsmom.com and that it’s an overdrive pedal with a clean, um, well, with an immaculate stir, it has a clean blend, which I know will make a lot of.
People happy. This is the enclosure it’s quite handsome. Uh, the, as soon as you plug it in the halo LEDs light up and when you turn it on the heart, the heart lights up, though. Whatever that’s called. I’m not Catholic. So I wanted to really quickly because people get mad when they think I don’t tune, but, um, just to show them doing it, I guess.
Uh, but I’ve been talking to Heather for a while about getting this pedal to demo. So I’m very excited. It’s finally coming together. I would suggest reading up on her, her history. She’s definitely got her. She’s got credentials.
Wow. It was almost like I did tune before and then just had to tune after to make people happy. All right. So I’m here with my. Her signature Stratocaster. Um, please don’t leave comments on the video telling me what I should do to modify it because I don’t care. And I didn’t ask for that. Um, and I’m playing through my striving already round B with the gain at about noon.
Uh, the room is also at noon. Uh, just kind of a slight boost on the mids and the trouble and a little bit of a cut on the base to get the sound on the next pickup.
All right now, let’s turn on the blessing mother. So I have the volume in the middle there. I have the gain or sorry, drive. All the way down and I have the treble and the bass in the middle. So they’re in their kind of neutral territory. And I have the macular, which is the clean blend all the way down.
let’s hear that, uh, low gain setting on the bridge pickup.
Let’s have some more fun and turn up the drive to about 10 o’clock ish.
Nice.
let’s try blending in some of the clean signal. See how that really cleans up and articulate. It makes, makes what you’re playing a little bit more articulate.
so you’re still getting that like growl underneath, but it’s probably really helpful for mixing and things. There’s a lot of people like to do their wet, dry kind of thing. And some of them like the dry signal to be cleaner.
It’s like the growl is under the w it’s like just kind of underneath. And I liked that in effects. I mean, it’s just like, it’s a mess.
Forgot how that one went.
it feels pretty warm to me. I like it. That’s a clean crank. The troublesome.
Now let’s, uh, cut the trouble. I’m just going to sweep the trouble.
nice. Back in the middle
sweep, the base.
No frequencies, no frequencies for you.
I don’t feel like I have a lot of overdrive pedals that have, uh, uh, um, And evacuated, I guess this is the one that cleaned blend there just really, aren’t a ton of them.
So I, yeah, I just really, haven’t played with a clean blend very much. This is kind of fun.
That’s pretty neat. That’s pretty, pretty neat.
Now let’s hear it on a Vox setting, gonna move to the, um, chime B.
Now let’s go for a Marshall sound. Uh, that would be the punch B on the Iridium reaching over. Get my hand up.
Oh, turn the. Clean blend down for now.
I think I’m a convert for the, the clean blend. I really am enjoying that. So that’s a quick, a quick ish. Look at the blessing mother by Heather Brown electronically, you can find them@godsmom.com. Which is it cracks me up every time. I think that that’s the actual URL and this is yeah. A really neat, really neat, really good sounding overdrive.
Yeah. And like, I, again, like I’m not. I’ve never given literally any thought to a clean blend on overdrive panel. I just, I know that some pedals have them and some people just literally don’t want to buy a paddle. I got an overdrive pedal that doesn’t have a clean blend. So now I really, I, I get why I get why.
Well, a big thanks to Heather for, for sending this pedal. Um, this was, if you didn’t see the thing in the bottom of the, before, this was a sponsored, a sponsored pedal Deno. Um, So, yeah.
